Folde Bookshop Shaftesbury: Nature Talk ‘The Book of Vanishing Species’ by Beatrice Forshall , at Grosvenor Arms 7pm, £5 entry.

Table Top Sale by and for the Tisbury Memory Group, 10 am – 3pm, Hinton Hall.  ·         
Fundraiser at Messums Gallery, Place Farm, for ACE SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) from 6.30pm till late, including dinner, dancing and a raffle with ‘mega prizes’.  Tickets are £120 including a welcome drink and dinner.  For more information and tickets go to www.acesma.co.uk ·         

Defibrillator and CPR Training at Tisbury Fire Station 10-12noon, led by Wiltshire Council’s first aid and casualty care trainers with Tisbury fire crew. Free event.  No booking required, just turn up. ·           
Victoria Hall: French film, ‘Chocolat’ starring Juliette Binoche and partly filmed in our area, by Fonthill Lake,  starts 7.30pm, adult tickets £6, organised by Tisbury Carnival
