| Monday 13 | · It’s half term week and Soft Play is now open for 5 and unders at the Nadder Centre from Monday – Thursday, 9-6pm, Fridays til 7pm and weekends 8am-1pm. Members £2.50 and non-member £3.50. Booking advisable. · If you’ve got youngsters visiting Tisbury this week over the holidays, don’t forget we’ve got a great free skatepark up behind the swimming pool and the Nadder Centre. · If you’re looking to shape up those bums, tums, and abs for the summer hols, there are classes Monday-Friday for all ages and abilities. So much fun you’ll forget you’re exercising!!
| Tuesday 14 | · Tisbury History Society’s AGM is on Wednesday in the Hinton Hall. Starts at 7pm, bar opens at 6.45pm and there will be two half hour talks on interesting family histories from Martin Shallcross on The Ghost House at Wallmead Farm and local resident Phil Buksh whose West Indian grandmother was a snake dancer. · Tisbury Youth Club gets together on Tuesday from 5-7pm at their clubhouse up behind the Swimming Pool for ages 10-18. | Wednesday 15 | · It’s half term next week and Revd. Jo Naish is running a Children’s Holiday Workshop from 2-4pm on Wednesday, 15 Feb @ St John’s in Hindon. Booking is essential. Call 01747 871820. · Tisbury Memory Group’s pop-up café is on Wednesday in the Hinton Hall from 10-12noon. Tea, coffee and home-baked cakes served. Everyone welcome. The group is also looking for volunteers to help out indoors and in Guy’s Patch community garden. It starts at 7pm, doors and bar open at 6.30pm. | Thursday 16 | · 7pm on Thursday, 16 Feb, is Tisbury Natural History Society’s AGM in the Victoria Hall, New Vic@Tisbury. It’s followed by a talk at 7.30pm on Hedgerows from Megan Gimber from the People’s Trust for Protected Species. Doors open and bar at 6,45pm. £2 guests, free members. · For mums and dads with babies and toddlers, Tisbury Youth Club also gets together for a social on Thursday evening from 5.30-8pm for ages 10-18.
| Friday 17 | · The Tiz’Berries Community Larder at the Youth Centre behind the Swimming Pool is open Monday to Saturday from 9.30 until 3.30pm (Tues & Thursday 9.30pm-7pm) and it’s stocked with tins of food, tasty treats, toiletries, winter clothing and blankets. | Saturday 18 | · Don’t forget it’s the Tisbury Country Market this Saturday from 10-11am in the Victoria Hall. Along with delicious locally produced food, arts, crafts and plants, it’s the place for spring plants.
